Food

We feed 90% wet diet, as dry kibble causes bladder stones and kidney failure. MC's grow slower and longer, so I recommend being on kitten food till 2yrs old. I do feed Farmina kitten chicken kibble for days I will be away during the day and can't feed wet. But these are two brands I like and offer a variety. I recommend staying away from tuna and limit other fish. Weruva is an awesome high quality brand & Tiny Tiger, Fancy Feast Kitten are both budget friendly options as well to rotate. Having a food rotation is important for the cat to keep it fresh.

Litter

I have used EVERYTHING LOL. I do not recommend pellets, as cats do not like them on their paws and prefer sand. I use Dr. Elseys, it is my favorite that works for me. I do really like the tofu, but it is not realistic for how many cats we have. I am also sharing my favorite litter box off of amazon, link below.

Grooming

Maintaining that beautiful coat is important to the MC and their health. Preventing matts is important. I do not bathe a lot. I avoid breeding MC's that have oily heavy coats that require a lot of care. Having a beautiful coat that is easy to maintain at home is important. I use a comb to brush 2X a week. I have also found a inexpensive clippers that are great for getting little matts.
